Well-being at Iowa is fostered by an environment that promotes healthy and purposeful living for all campus members. We play a role in this by offering appointments, group workshops, events and other programming for students on nutrition, fitness, mindfulness, stress management, alcohol and drugs, tobacco/e-cigarettes, sexual health and sleep.

We have two locations on campus – in the Westlawn Building and at the CRWC.

Who we serve

Our services are available for current University of Iowa students, including undergraduate, graduate and professional students, and post-doctoral scholars and fellows.

We respect and support diverse perspectives, values and needs of others by providing an inclusive environment that serves individuals representing diverse races, ethnicities, national origins, ages, sexual orientations, gender identities, religions and abilities.

Things to keep in mind when scheduling appointments

  • Arrive early.
  • Whether you call or schedule online, be as clear and specific as you can on what you are scheduling for. Have your student ID number ready.
  • Please do not schedule an appointment within an hour of another class or engagement. Most appointments are scheduled for one hour in length.
  • There is a charge for missed mandated alcohol and drug appointments.
