College of Law Student Mindfulness Workshop

 

Intro to Mindfulness® is an evidence-based curriculum specifically designed for teaching mindfulness, meditation, and stress management to college students and other young adults. The College of Law, University Counseling Service, and Student Wellness have partnered to launch a law student specific workshop, which will include the four work workshop and conclude with two weeks of application to the law student experience. Snacks will be provided.

The Intro to Mindfulness program…

  • is taught in 75-minute classes (a brief model to accommodate busy student schedules)
  • is structured with daily homework of a mindfulness log and 10 minutes of mindfulness practice
  • is taught in small groups

Wednesdays, September 18, 25, October 3, 10, 17, 24.

Participants will receive the book "The Mindful Twenty-Something" at the first session.
