The Weight Management Clinic (WMC) is a collaborative group of health professionals  from the University of Iowa that have come together to offer services to those struggling with weight  concerns. The WMC’s main goal is to provide students with the education, skills, and support necessary to reduce health risks of  those individuals  with a BMI of 30 or greater, or a BMI of 25 or greater in combination with other medical conditions.

Are you struggling to lose weight?

Being overweight is a concern of health, not appearance.  It is a complex issue that affects long-term well-being and quality of life.

Evidence shows that a team approach works more effectively than a single discipline to take the weight off and keep it off.

If you think weight is an issue for you and are ready to make lifestyle changes—please make an appointment or contact our experts.  We can give you the one-on-one support you need to reach your goals!
